Lucas Gleed is an award-winning Microsoft 365 consultant, charity technology advisor, trustee and compliance professional based in Swindon, Wiltshire.
He specialises in helping charities and purpose-led organisations improve collaboration, security, governance and digital operations through practical, people-focused technology solutions.
Lucas serves as IT Trustee at Wiltshire Treehouse, supporting Microsoft 365, GDPR and information governance, alongside his professional work in compliance within the global insurance sector.
He is also the former founder of Gleed Media, an award-winning consultancy supporting charities and small businesses with Microsoft 365, WordPress and digital communications.
Passionate about mental health awareness and inclusive communities, Lucas also draws on his lived experience with Crohn’s disease to advocate for resilience, wellbeing and compassionate leadership.

Living with Crohn’s Disease has shaped how I lead, communicate and support others.
Living with Crohn’s disease, a lifelong form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) that causes inflammation of the digestive system, has given me a deeply personal understanding of resilience, uncertainty, and the importance of compassionate support.
My experiences of living with IBD have shaped the way I approach leadership, accessibility, mental health awareness, and community advocacy. They have strengthened my belief in the importance of empathy, understanding, and ensuring that people feel heard, supported, and included.
Alongside my professional and voluntary commitments, I am proud to be a member of the Young Adults Advisory Panel at Crohn’s & Colitis UK, where I help bring the voices and experiences of young people living with IBD into conversations that shape support, services, and awareness.
Rather than defining me, Crohn’s disease has reinforced my commitment to helping build inclusive, supportive communities where people can access the understanding, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive.
